As part of the activities marking Privacy Week, a successful school outreach was conducted to raise awareness on digital privacy and responsible online behavior among students. The outreach team visited Sa’adu Zungur Secondary School and Kofar Wambai Secondary School, where engaging and informative sessions were delivered. The lectures focused on the importance of protecting personal data, understanding digital footprints, and adopting safe practices while using the internet and digital devices.

The sessions were highly interactive, with students actively participating by asking insightful questions and sharing their experiences. To reinforce learning, questions were also posed to the students, and those who answered correctly were rewarded with gifts as a form of encouragement. The outreach not only enhanced students’ understanding of privacy but also fostered enthusiasm and awareness, making it a meaningful and impactful component of the Privacy Week activities.
